I’m the #3 cancer influencer on LinkedIn?
😱 [HOLY MOLEY] 😱
Speaking of gratitude and thankfulness…
Apparently I’m the #3 cancer influencer on LinkedIn. Globally.
(My tumor would be so proud.)
FAVIKON just ranked the top oncology voices worldwide and somehow this piano-playing, podcasting, Mark Cuban-trolling “Man yells at cloud” cancer survivor made the list at #3.
This is what happens when you survive brain cancer at 21 and decide (nonviolent) revenge is a career path.
But this IS NOT about me.
I accept this recognition and honor on behalf of every patient advocate told they’re “too angry” to matter. Every survivor who turned trauma into purpose. Everyone pushing healthcare’s boulder up the mountain while their own bodies betray them. We are one exhausted, unbreakable huddled mass of a community. And we’re finally too loud to ignore.
Remember that every rage post about insurance denials, every story about choosing between insulin and rent., and every time we name who profits from our pain adds up to influence the system simply can’t ignore anymore.
30 years ago they said “Meh,” gave me a craniotomy, tossed me in an EZ Bake Oven and threw me a “walk it off” pat on the back. Now I’m the most influential patient advocate voice on LinkedIn. (#1 and #2 were oncologists)
Your move, UnitedHealth. #Bahahahahaha
To the 20,000+ of you following this chaos: We’re not just building an audience. SPOILER FOR 2026 ➡️ I’m building the single most powerful dormant voter bloc in American history.
40M Americans who comprise the Cancer Community and a total of 135 million Americans with chronic conditions are about to realize we’re not patients anymore.
We’re POWER.
Thanks Jeremy Boissinot and Favikon for recognizing that sometimes the most important voices in healthcare are the ones who’ve been on the wrong side of the billing department.
Now excuse me while I update my bio.
