ā˜€ļø šŸ–ļø šŸ“» OUT OF PATIENTS SUMMER HIATUS SURPRISE šŸ“» šŸ–ļø ā˜€ļø

Out of Patients goes dark every August. Listeners have always loved my greatest hits set while I recover from yelling at the healthcare system for eleven straight months.

Not this year.

This summer I’m handing you something bigger. Five Tuesdays. Five episodes. A feed swap with a docuseries that ripped me apart and put me back together. It’s called LEAD: How This Story Ends Is Up to Us. It just previewed as an official selection at the Tribeca Festival. It earned it.

This story isn’t oncology. It’s lead poisoning.

Differently horrible.

A kid poisoned by his own apartment. A mother who refuses to let him become a casualty. A system that failed every single test. You will hear rage, desperation, and moments of raw humanity the healthcare playbook pretends don’t exist.

Every Tuesday from August 5 through September 2, you’ll get episodes one through five of this series. Get pissed with us. Subscribe to it. Rate it. Review it. Share it with friends. Amplify it.

That’s what advocacy means. I’m proud to bring this to you.

Out of Patients returns for Season 9 on September 9. Until then, brace yourself.

Upcoming featured guests include conversations with Marc Elia, Sophie Sargent, Olivia Battinelli, Catherine Creme Henry, Jennifer Brown, Shannon Burkett, Carla Tardiff, Sally Wolf, Rebecca Nellis, Allison Applebaum, Libby Shayo, Tracy Weiss, Julia Stalder, Shannon Burkett, MaryAnn Wilbur, and more!

If this hits home, toss it a like, a repost, comment, or tag someone you may be ambivalent about. One click makes a bigger difference than you think.
