Introducing "Walk If Off: Men Don't Talk About Cancer"

🥳 🎙️ 💪🏻 NEW PODCAST DOCU-SERIES PREMIERE 💪🏻 🎙️ 🥳

"Walk It Off: Men Don't Talk About Cancer" is out.

Three episodes, raw, authentic, brutal conversations, and more than a few moments that left me staring at the wall after the mic was off.

Men don't talk about cancer. They choke it down, bury it, laugh it off, or drown it in silence. This series refuses that script.

You'll hear how one man described masculinity collapsing the moment he couldn't split his own woodpile. He laid bare the shame, the depression, and the blunt truth from his wife that kept him alive.

Another man walked me through 49 surgeries, sexual dysfunction, and the humiliation of watching the VA botch his body.

You'll hear how a couple talked about what cancer does to intimacy and relationships, and how caregiving can wreck the caregiver's health. Their story is equal parts love and indictment of a system that treats partners like afterthoughts.

You'll hear from a young survivor diagnosed in college, given months to live, now in his 20s with chronic disease, clinical trials, and a dating life in Miami that could be its own tragicomedy. He talks about surfing with a chemo port, fertility in a children's hospital, and what it means to grow into manhood while fighting for his life.

Walk It Off is brutally honest. It is men talking about sex, shame, depression, fatherhood, identity, faith, and the friends who vanish when cancer shows up. It is everything society tells men to keep locked down.

Producing this series was an honor.

After Cancer Mavericks, I didn't know if I had another project like this in me. Turns out I did, because it needed to exist.

Walk It Off is streaming now wherever you get your podcasts. Listen, share it, and if you know a man facing cancer, make sure he hears it.
