Wendell Potter FTW (Again)

UnitedHealthcare has perfected the art of making people suffer.

Wendell Potter walked into Congress (again) and said it out loud. He did it with receipts, names, numbers, and lived experience.

The hearing pulled back the curtain on how this company manipulates prior authorization, delays care, and drives people to skip treatment entirely. It confirmed what patients have been screaming for years: the system runs exactly as designed, and that design rewards cruelty.

Wendell is not some fringe voice. He is a friend, mentor and no-BS visionary American hero we should all be grateful for.

He built his career inside this machine, selling the lies we now live with. He knows every play because he helped write the playbook. That makes him dangerous to the industry and priceless to us. When he calls UnitedHealthcare’s practices abusive, you pay attention. When he lays out how regulators let it happen, you stop pretending reform will come from inside.

Congress once again gave him a microphone and it's worth every second of your time to watch these videos in his latest post.

Patients deserve more than hearings. We deserve action. We deserve our own social justice movement that our elected officials cannot ignore.

Until then, I share this testimony, amplify it, and keep naming the villains. Why? Because the people causing the harm have names, titles, and salaries that dwarf the cost of the care they deny.
